TERMS & CONDITIONS

Clear terms.
Better understanding.

These Terms of Use explain how DoorDig's website and upcoming digital-assistance platform are intended to work, including the responsibilities of customers and the limits of the assistance we provide.

Last updated: 12 October 2026Applies to DoorDig website and Customer App

Before you begin

DoorDig is an independent private digital-assistance initiative based in Mysuru, Karnataka. Our Customer App and doorstep services are being prepared for launch. By accessing our website or using our services when available, you agree to the applicable terms described here.

Please read these Terms alongside our Privacy Policy.

01

About DoorDig

DoorDig aims to connect customers with personal assistance for eligible online applications and digital processes at their doorstep. DoorDig is a private assistance platform, not a government department, authorized government service centre, or issuing authority.

02

Services & Availability

Available services may depend on your city, address, the relevant official portal, eligibility requirements, and executive availability. Some services may not be available in every location or at every time.

Certain processes, including biometric verification, physical verification, or in-person appointments, must be completed by the customer at an appropriate authorized location where required.

03

Bookings & Appointments

When booking becomes available, customers will be able to request eligible services through the DoorDig Customer App. A booking may require a valid service address, contact information, and appointment preferences.

Requested times are subject to confirmation and operational availability. We may contact you to clarify a request or arrange an alternative time if a visit cannot be fulfilled as requested.

04

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and current information for applications and bookings.
  • Making required original documents or details available for verification.
  • Reviewing application information before it is submitted.
  • Participating in processes that require personal consent, authentication, or confirmation.
  • Using the platform lawfully and treating DoorDig personnel respectfully.

You should not share passwords or one-time passwords (OTPs) with an executive. Complete authentication steps yourself whenever required.

05

Official Applications & Decisions

DoorDig assists with processes; it does not issue government documents, make official eligibility decisions, or guarantee approval, processing times, or outcomes. Relevant authorities and third-party providers independently control their requirements and decisions.

Official portal availability, changes in rules, and verification requirements may affect the completion of a requested service.

06

Pricing & Payments

DoorDig's assistance fee and any applicable government or third-party charges are separate. The relevant charges should be communicated during the booking or service process, before the customer proceeds with payment.

For our planned initial service model, customers will pay the executive during the visit rather than through an in-app payment gateway. Payment methods and pricing may change as the platform develops.

07

Cancellations & Refunds

Booking changes, cancellations, and any applicable refunds will be subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy presented in the Customer App before a booking is confirmed. Any government or third-party fee already paid may be subject to that provider's separate rules.

Customers should review the applicable booking terms and charges before confirming a service request.

08

Accounts & Security

Customers may need to verify their mobile number to create or access an account. You are responsible for maintaining control of your mobile number, device, and account access, and for notifying us of suspected misuse.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security, misuse, or legal concerns. Account deletion information is available on our Account Deletion page.

09

Privacy & Personal Documents

We intend to help customers complete eligible applications in their presence and avoid routinely retaining copies of personal identity documents. Some booking details, acknowledgements, or receipts may be maintained where necessary for service support or applicable obligations.

For more information about personal information, security, and requests, please see our Privacy Policy.

10

Third-Party Services

Applications may involve external websites, government portals, payment services, or other third-party systems. Their availability, content, fees, and policies are managed independently of DoorDig.

References to official services do not imply government endorsement, partnership, or authorization.

11

Availability & Liability

We aim to provide reliable assistance but cannot promise uninterrupted website or app availability, error-free third-party systems, or specific application outcomes. Services may be delayed or unavailable due to technical issues, official portal outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

12

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the DoorDig platform develops or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be published here with a revised date, and additional notice will be provided where required.

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India.
